It was a great experience conducting Corporate Yoga Webinar for Toyota Motor Corporation & @ToyotaEvery organized by Mantra Care. The theme of the webinar was #SukshmaVyayama for #Corporates.

In the webinar, my focus was to encourage employees to adopt & equip themselves with mind-body relaxation chair stretches compatible with their busy work lives & workspaces.

In the two-day webinar, I also taught employees a couple of #eyeexercises to neutralize the ill effects of increased screen time on the eye muscles as well as the brain.

NOTE: I recommend desktop workers wear eyeglasses πŸ‘“ with a blue cut lens. They protect your eyes πŸ‘€ from increased exposure to blue light due to long hours of screen time.

Research & studies show that the blue light entering our eyes while working in front of the desktop disrupts melatonin levels, a sleep hormone. It further causes issues like insomnia, headaches, & other hosts of sleep problems.

Today, the nature of our office jobs requires us to sit anywhere 8 hours a day. All this while, we've become desk-bound employees to keep up with work commitments. Moreover, our preoccupation with office jobs many times leaves us little time & energy for workouts at gyms & studios consistently. In lack of motivation, it becomes difficult to push ourselves & pursue elaborate fitness regimes daily.

Nonetheless, the desk-bound high-stress work environment in our workspaces puts a huge toll on both our bodies & minds. Against this backdrop, it's critical to learn & adopt sustainable & portable mind-body remedies. Such remedies help us restore & replenish ourselves without having to put in the extra effort & finding the time.
